Luc impact of industrial revolution

I think if a new industry was set up within town limits a lot of new people would move into the town. A lot of things would change like busier streets and more roads would have to be made, there would also be more houses made to which means we would have to hire more people to build them. We would also need a bigger water treatment plant, and a bigger dam would need to be put in to supply water to a larger community. With more people moving to the town we would need more police because the crime rate would most likely rise. There would have to be a larger hospital build in case of emergency and a better fire department.

Nathan Industrial Revolution

If an industry opened up a factory for 1500 people there would be a lot of pros and cons. Sure there would be a lot more money brought to Assiniboia; but where would all of those people sleep, eat and shop. Our services are not equipped to handle that big of a population increase. Because it is not only the 1500 people who come here to work but they also bring their family. Suppose every family had 4 people that would be 6000 people coming to Assiniboia or a 200% population increase. Where would all of the sewage go, even if we could get the equipment where would the town get the money to run it. The town would not only be building a factory but they would also be building new houses, hospital, police station, fire station, EMS and Paramedic station, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant and many other services.
Although the factory would bring money and employment to Assiniboia. I don’t think we could provide the essential services for a larger population.

Impacts of Industry

If a new industry were to move to town, there would be many impacts. For the industry to be able to hire 1500 people there would be new people who would move to town. With more people moving to town, more houses would need to be built. We would also need contractors to build those houses. When those houses were built, the town would need to expand it’s water, electricity, and waste management systems. Also, when the people move here, they would bring more vehicles, and more vehicles means more pollution.
The old businesses might not be able to support all the new people. There would be more stores that would be built to supply the new people. The new families would bring children with them, so the schools would need to be expanded. These would be the impacts of a new industry.

Napoleon Bonaparte

In my opinion, Napoleon was a really good leader in battle but he seemed too ambitious in his political actions. He knew how to win a battle, but in didn’t know when enough was enough.
Napoleon was an extremely smart person. He was able to graduate a two year military program in one year. His intelligence allowed him to take over most of Europe. His intelligence also allowed him to escape the island of Elba when he was exiled there. He was also fairly smart in his political actions, because he was able to fix the financial crisis and also made everyone pay taxes, but he was overly ambitious in the amount of territory he wanted to control. He was smart but he didn’t know when to stop trying to gain more land.
Napoleon was very selfish in his political aims. He created to continental system to try and starve out Britain, but all it accomplished was having his own countries go against him. When Russia traded with Britain because they had to, Napoleon tried to invade them only because they went against him. Napoleon also only created public school to have a better army. He created lycées to have a more educated army. He was more interested in his own ego than his country. He was a very selfish person in his decisions.
Napoleon was a good leader in battle. He knew how to win a battle and to keep his troops moral up. Other than that he was a selfish man. He didn’t care about the other countries he controlled when he made political decisions. He only cared if he controlled everyone that he wanted. Because of these things, he was a okay leader in my opinion.

Why Napoleon was a bad leader

Napoleon may have done some good things for France but he was a bad leader who only thought about himself. He opened schools for everyone to go to which is a good thing but the only reason he did that is to have more intelligent and discipline officers to lead his armies. There is also the Napoleonic code that helped France a lot in some ways but it brought back some of the old things the revolution was trying to get rid of like men having all rights and woman were just suppose to stay home. The revolution was trying to get rid of a monarchy, but then Napoleon went and crowned himself emperor which gave him power over everything just like a king. While he ruled he did a couple of good things like making everybody pay equal taxes and opened banks to keep the taxes in. Napoleons will to rule all of Europe was his worst trait, because of this he came up with the continental system which stopped all trade with Britain. That caused a lot of problems in some places and that’s when people started to notice that he wasn’t the best leader. They started to turn against him and exiled him to an island where he would live out the rest of his days.

Napoleon

Napoleon was a good dictator but he was all in it for himself and he wanted a feeling of more power. He knew how to fight in battle but he was a poor leader.
Napoleon brought public schools to France. Which is normally good but the only reason Napoleon brought public schools in was so he could have educated officers in his army. Napoleon did everything to further his army. Napoleon even attacked Moscow for revenge and when the Russians retreated he could not even provide basic items for his troops to live. Many of his soldiers died because he could not provide them with essential life items like food and shelter. And many more of his soldiers died in the winter because there was no shelter for warmth. This just proves that he went into battle to keep his ego up. When he was in Egypt he lost a war and did not tell his people that it was lost. To do this he didn’t care who he hurt he was focused on engaging in and focusing in wars.
Napoleon created the Napoleonic Code which caused the rights of women and children to be diminished and put on the man of the house. This was very unfair to the women and children of France because they could not do things they could normally do from before because the new law. Another one of Napoleon’s unsuccessful laws was Continental System. The Continental System was created so Napoleon could win war opposing Great Brittan. The Continental System made it so the two countries could not trade goods. This did not only make Great Brittan suffer but also made France and countries under France’s influence suffer too. He also made everyone pay more taxes so he could get more money. Napoleon also took the Directory over illegally; this shows that he had a great desire to have more power. When Napoleon was getting crowned he didn’t let the pope crown him, his greed led him to grab the crown and crown himself. Napoleon also created a bank so he could control inflation so his army would be cheaper to have.
I am glad Napoleon was ruling back then, because he was a horrible dictator.
